No they didn't, they lost by a point Robbins' junior year homie. They got beat by like 2 or more TD's Robbins senior year.

27-14 they scored at the end of the game. The QB #2 was a hoss. If I am not mistaking Breathitt won State or wentto state the year before PV started playing them. Not 100% sure
Yeah they won something like 3 titles in 8 years maybe?? but they weren't state championship level the years they played the Vikes
Take this advice from a senior citizen. They have learned from this and everything will work out.
One thing I can say that Clintwood needs is some players to be leaders. That is one thing that seems to hurt us when a crucial player is out or struggling. We have some quiet leaders, but not really that much of vocal leaders. I think a game like this may force a few to step up, or at least I hope so.
But that`s also like taking a school PV`s size and playin a School St. Paul`s size. even if Richlands isn`t in the hunt for State championship but make the playoffs, wouldn`t you expect them to win? PV also beat them 1 out of the 3 meetings, also with the the other 2 being decided by 1 and 13 points.
That's the important thing!
Hopefully, Robinson will be back soon and Clintwood will be back to full force.

If Powell Valley was in KY they would have been in the same classification as Breathitt County, Middlesboro KY that Lee High plays is smaller than GC and they were in their district
I don't think I would say that KY football is better than VA football as a whole. Right now Region D is as weak as it has ever been, but teams that need wins have been scheduling KY teams of similar size for years. Heck, around Louisville you find good football teams from larger schools, but match them up with the Hampton's and such in the Tidewater area I would venture to say Male and some of the other head teams would be hurting. Heck, take a look at the number of D1 prospects in the states each year. It is very rare that KY or TN has more than VA I would guess.
